Spencer come before me a Justice of the peace for the aforesaid, and after being duly sworn deposeth and saith that on the first day of July instant 1844 at the town of Appenoosce said that he had Said that “the smith family should become extinct before three months, and if they were not damed cautious they would be” and your affiant says no further—
