Personally appeared before me , an acting Alderman in, and for said Luther Taylor—— who, being first duly sworn, deposeth and saith, that he is not opposed to, nor has he any hostile feelings to the Citizens of , that he has not given any information, nor will he give any, to the Mob— or any one belonging to the Mob, that he has not aided or abetted, nor will he aid or abet any of them in the persecution of the said citizens of , neither will he cary out of any arms or ammunition whatever.
