Know all men by these presents that I of the City of . Hancock Co. Ills. for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Joseph Smith of the City of Hancock County and aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Joseph Smith his executors, administrators and assigns, one horse, Three cows, One two horse waggon and one, one horse waggon, and also one cross cut saw, and the following described household furniture viz One clock, three beds bed and bedding one stove, one carpet, cooking utensils, a quantity of Carpenters and joiners tools, all my right title interest and claim in and to the lot on which I now reside. To have and to hold, all, and singular the said goods, household stuff and furniture, hor[s]es and cows and waggons, and other the premises above bargained and sold, or mentioned, or intended so to be, to the said Joseph Smith his executors administrators and assigns for ever. And I the said , for myself my heirs, executors administrators, all and singular the said goods, household stuff and furniture, horses and cows and waggons and other <the> property above bargained and sold or mentioned, or intended to be mentioned, unto the Said Joseph Smith his executors administrators and assigns, against me the said , my Executors, administrators, and against all and every other person and persons whomsoever, shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents.
