BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the 20th day of March183 1845 before the subscriber, of said county of , personally appeared Jonas Hobart & Elisha Easterbrooks— and acknowledged themselves to owe to the people of the state of , the sum of fifty <One hundred—> Dollars, to be levied of their respective goods and chattels, lands and tenements, to the use of the said people, if default be made in the conditions following, to wit: Whereas the said has this day arrested the said Jonas Hobart who is now in custody, upon a , issued from the Circuit Court of said , upon an indictment pending in said court, against the said & others for the crime of Now, therefore, if the said Jonas Hobart shall well and truly appear before the said Circuit Court, in and for the said county of , on the first day of the next term thereof to be holden at the Court House in , on the third Monday of May— next, then and there to answerthetestify in relation to said indictment, and abide the order of the court thereon, and not depart the court without leave thereof, then this recognizance shall be void and of none effect, otherwise to be in full force and virtue.
