in the sum of Thirty Thousand dollars, & the payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs Executors and Adminstrators firmly by these presents seald with our seals and dated this fourteenth day of January A. D. 1837.
The condition of the foregoing obligation is such That if said Cartter shall well and truly and faithfully, perform the obligations, and discharge the duties of agent of said Bank according to the Tenor of a certain agremnt [agreement] bearing sam[e] date here with then this obligation shall be void otherwise remain in full force and Effect
Witness our Hands and seals this fourteenth day of Jan A. D. 1837
