Know all men by these presents that we Will[i]am Parr principal and Robert Reid and Josiah Mainwaring securities all of the county of and state of , are held and firmly bound unto Joseph Smith sole Trustee in trust for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints his successors in office and assigns in the penal sum of two hundred dollars for the payment of which sum well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our executors, administrators and assigns firmly by these presents. The Condition of the above obligation is such that the said William Parr this day agrees to labour in the Stone quarry from time to time as he shall be called for by the Temple Committee to the amount of the cost of bringing out his family from to — his labor to be rated at the price of seventy five cents per day— Now if the said William Parr shall well and <truly> perform his agreement and labour in the said stone quarry to the amount of the expenses of bringing over [h]is family to as aforesaid then the condition of this obligation to be void and of no effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue—
