I, Melgar Couchman, Sheriff of said do hereby certify, that , by his attorney () this day paid into my hands, seven Dollars and seventy five cents ($7.75) in full for redemption & interest on the North East and North west quarters of section, four. township six (6). North Range eight (8) west. of the 4th principal meridian, the cause having been sold on the 11th May 1846. on execution No 2240. in favor of ass[ignee] and and against . May 5th A. D. 1847.
