day of April A. D. 1846, and one note for one hundred dollars payable on or before the first day of April A. D. 1847 said notes paying drawing interest at the rate of six per cent per cent per annum from date, then and from thenceforth these presents and every thing herein contained, shall cease and be void, any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding. In witness whereof the said hath hereunto set his hand <&> seal the day and year first above written
