I Joseph Smith Mayor of the said City of , do hereby Certify, that the Ordinance entitled An Ordinance Concerning Vagrants and disorderly Persons, is a true and perfect Copy and transcript from the Records of said , in which the Ordinances of said are duly recorded and required to be recorded by an Ordinance of said , and that said Ordinance is unrepealed, and that said Ordinance was duly published in the “Times and Seasons” a public newspaper, printed within the said City of ; within One Month after it was passed by the City Council of said , and that said Ordinance since its passage has been in force within the said City of .
