KNOW YE, That having been duly elected to the office of Captain Second Company, first Battalion, first Regiment, Second Cohort of the [blank] Regiment of the Militia of the State of , I, , Governor of said , for, and on behalf of the People of said , do commission him Captain second Company, first Battalion, first Regiment, second Cohort, Nauvoo Legion of said Militia of said Regiment, to take rank from the ninth of the March 1841.
