Personally appeared before me, , Mayor of the City of , Joseph Smith, who being duly sworn according to law deposeth, and saith, that on the 9th day of March, AD. 1842, did, at his own house, in the aforesaid, conduct himself in a very indecent manner, both in language and behaviour, towards said Smith, contrary to the provisions of an ordinance entitled “An ordinance concerning vagrants and disorderly persons,” and further this deponent saith not.
