He then stated that it had been told to him that had been telling some man of some things which belongs to the council. He said he should like to know from whether this was true & called upon him to state whether he had told any thing.
Coun. then related a conversation that took place between him and a man at the conference concerning his going to the West, and stated the answer he made to the man.
The then instructed the council how we should answer any man who asks us of things we have no right to tell.
He then called upon to state his feelings as to whether he would [p. [281]]
