This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty fourth day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty Two between of the city of and State of of the first part, and Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust for the , of the County of , and State of of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the love and good will he bears to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of Which the said Joseph Smith, party of the second part, is sole Trustee in Trust, and also for the sum of one dollar, to him in hand paid, the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell convey, and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, party of the second part his successors in office and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of Land, situate and being in the county of in the State of known and described as follows, to wit, commencing at the south west corner of the south East quarter of section Number Nine, in Township Number six North of range Number Eight West of the fourth principal Meridian, running thence East Thirty two rods, thence North Thirty Rods, thence West thirty two rods, thence South Thirty rods to the place of beginning containing six acres of Land more or less, together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and To Hold the above described premises unto the said Joseph Smith, party of the second part, his successors in office and assigns forever. And the said , party of first part, his heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust, &c. party of the Second part, his successors in office and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will Warrant and forever defend by these presents.
