This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty Sixth day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Thirty Nine, Between and Elizabeth his Wife, of and State of , of the first part, and of the County of and , of the second part, Witnesseth That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of [blank] dollars to them in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowleged, have given, granted, bargained, and Sold, and by these presents, do give, grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, Those certain pieces or parcels of land, situate lying and being, in the County of , and and described as follows to wit,— Being the South East quarter and South West quarter, of sect. Thirty four, Township Sixty Seven North, Range five west, North half Sect: Sixteen, North half Sect Seventeen— South East quarter Sect. Twenty Six Section Twenty Seven— North East quarter, Sect. Thirty five and Sect: Thirty Six, In Township Sixty Seven North, Range Six west, Sect. Fourteen Township Sixty Six North, Range five west, The fractional South East quarter of Sect. Three in the Township & Range last mentioned— and also the S. W. & qr. of Ten Same Township Containing Two Thousand Seven hundred & Ninety three 62/100 acres more or less.— To have and To hold the aforesaid premises, together with all and singular the improvements rights, privileges, and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, free from the claim or claims, of themselves, their heirs or assigns, and from the claims of any and every other person, or persons claiming the same, by through or under them, or either of them, and the said parties of the first part, for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators covenant with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of the above described premises, that they have good right, full power and lawful authority, to sell and convey the same, and that the ab[ove] described premises, are clear and free from all encumbran[ces] [p. 15]
