said lot Number one hundred and thirty five and West of the Volney road belonging to Elijah Davis The East line of the said fifty acres to run parallel to the West lines of said Lot, containing fifty acres of Land be the same more or less. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions remainders rents issues and profits thereof, And all the estate right title interest claim and demands whatsoever of the said parties of the first part, either in law or [e]quity of in and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurtenances To Have and to Hold the said hereby granted above mentioned and described premises with the appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, And the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators doth covenant grant, bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to Warrant and forever to Defend the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof now being in the quiet and peaceful possession of the said party of the second part against the said parties of the first part their heirs and assigns and all other persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part there of In Witness Whereof, the parties to these presents hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

On this Ninth day of October in the year 1840 Jonathan Harrington and Julia his wife came before me and severally acknowledged that they had executed the within deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned And the said Julia on a private examination apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the said deed freely and without any fear or compulsion of her husband And I further certify that I know the persons who made the said acknowledgment to be the same individuals described in and who executed the said deed. Let it be recorded.
