To all people to whom these presents shall come Greeting: Know Ye that We and his wife of township in the County of Geauga and State of Ohio for the consideration of One thousand and Seven hundred dollars received to our full satisfaction of ; do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto him the said the following, described Tract or lot of land Situate in the Township of being number nine in the ninth Range of townships of the in the State of Ohio and which is also in the County of Geauga and is known by being the equal undivided half of the East part of Lot Number Eighty one (81) and also the equal undivided half of the Southwest part of Lot No. Eighty (80) and bounded as follows to Wit. Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot No. Eighty one (81) then West, 1° South ten chains and fifty nine links, thence South 1/4° West 14 chains and 60. links, thence East 2° North one chain and thirty links, thence South 1¼ East to the South line of said Lot No. 81, thence Easterly on the South line of said Lot No. 81 to the corner of Lot No. 80. Eleven chains and 55 links, thence North 1/4° East 10 chains & 29 Links thence N. 89° East to the corner of James Webbs land thence North 6 degrees West on said Webbs West line to the centre of the highway, thence Westerly on the centre of the highway to the west line of Lot No 80, thence North 1/4° East 22 chains & 50 Links to the place of beginning containing one hundred and thirty acres, being the land deeded to by Christopher Crary, be the same more or less but subject to all legal highways: To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said his heirs and assigns forever to his own proper use and behoof. And I the said do for myself & heirs executors and administrators, covenant with the said his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written and that the same be free of all incumbrances whatsoever. And furthermore I the said do by these presents bind myself & my heirs forever to Warrant, and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever. And I the said do hereby remise, release and forever unto the said his heirs and assigns all my right and title of dower in and to the above described premises— In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the thirtieth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty Eight
