of said Lot thence Easterly along the North line of said Lot one hundred rods thence Southerly at right angles with said line sixteen rods then Westerly by a line parallel with said North line one hundred rods to the West line of said Lot twenty six and then Northerly along said West line sixteen rods to the Beginning containing ten acres of Land. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions, remainders rents issues and profits thereof, and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in law or [e]quity of in and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurtenances To Have and to Hold the said hereby granted above mentioned and described premises with the appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof, to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever And the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators doth covenant grant bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to Warrant and forever to Defend the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof now being in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part against the said parties of the first part their heirs and assigns and all other persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof

On the tenth day of October in the year 1840 before me came Thomas King and Elizabeth his wife known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the within deed and severally acknowledged that they executed the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned And the said Elizabeth on a private examination apart from her husband did further acknowledge that she executed the same freely and without any fear or compulsion of her husband, Therefore let it be recorded.
