.— By a letter from the Hon , of the State Senate, to , it appears that the following additional section in relation to our Legion, recently forwarded to by , has become a law, to wit:
“Any citizen of , may, by voluntary enrollment, attach himself to the Nauvoo Legion, with all the privileges which appertain to that independent military body.”
This is quite a privilege; and we say to our friends—come on and enroll yourselves so that there may be a perfect organization by the 4th of July next—which day we wish to celebrate with appropriate military honors. The Legion will be called out, likewise, on the 6th of April. [p. 320]
