Er said the kingdom of God had been a subject which had long occupied his attention. In regard to the church and kingdom of God there appeared to be in some instances a difference and in other places they appeared to be the same. In order to draw the distinction he must have refference to the name of the kingdom. He cant conceive wherein there should exist a difference between them other than that God had gathered together a large people which was called the church, and from the midst of them he would organize his kingdom.
