This Indenture, made and entered into this fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four, between and Frances [Kimberley Turley] his wife of the county of and State of of the first part, and Alfred B. Lambson of the county of and State of of the second part, Witnesseth that the said and Frances his wife, party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of seventy-five dollars, in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, the following described peice or lot of land, situate, lying, and being in the City of , County of and State of , and designated as follows, part of Lot No four in Block number one hundred and forty seven of the City of , further described as follows, twenty five feet front on Carlin Street, to commence on the North East corner of said lot number four, running from thence South twenty five feet, thence West thirty five feet, thence North twenty five feet, thence East thirty five feet to the place of beginning. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining: To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said of the first part, and his heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In testimony whereof, the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands, and affixed their seals the day and year first herein written

I, , Notary Public in and for said City of , do hereby certify, that and Frances his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed of Conveyance, and who are personally known to me to be the identical persons who executed the same, this day appeared before me and did severally acknowledge that they had signed, sealed and delivered the same, as their free act and deed, for the uses and purposes therein expressed. And, Frances Turley wife of the said , having been by me made acquainted with the contents of said Deed, and being by me examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her right of dower in and to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her said .
