Know all men by these presents, that I, of the City of Hancock County, and State of Illinois, am held and firmly bound, unto David Martin of Hamilton County and State of his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns in the penal sum of three hundred dollars lawful money of the for the payment of which well and truly to be made I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns firmly by these presents. Sealed with my seal and dated this twenty seventh day of May A. D. 1844.
