in Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this seventeenth day of September in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and forty four.

This Indenture, made and entered into, this twenty fourth day of Sept. in the Year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty four between and Nancy [Case] Winchester his wife, of the county of and State of , of the one part, and of the and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said and Nancy his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty five dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, all that part or parcel of land, sitaute and being in the county of in the State of , viz: The North half of the North west quarter of lot No forty four, in Block No five, in s addition to , containing Sixty six rods of ground— more or less, said Block being bounded East on Brigham Street; South on Parley St.; West on Winchester street, and North by Kimball Street.
Together with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns for ever. And the said and Nancy Winchester his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said his heirs and assigns, against the claims or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
In testimony whereof, the said and Nancy Winchester his wife of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year first above written.
