This Indenture made and entered into this twenty seventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five between and his wife of the county of and state of , of the one part, and Ann Simpson of this city of , county of New York and state of , of the other part witnesseth that the said and his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty dollars, to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said Ann Simpson her heirs and assigns forever all that part or parcel of land situate and being in the county of in the state of , viz: it being a part of Lot number two in Block number one hundred and eighteen of the city of , commencing twenty five feet east from the north west corner of the north East quarter of said Lot, and running thence south five and a half rods, thence east thirty two feet nine inches thence north to the north line of said Lot, thence west to the place of beginning be the same more or less. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining. To Have and Hold the above described premises unto the said Ann Simpson, her heirs and assigns forever.
