This Indenture made and entered into this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four between and Mary [Houghton Fuller] his wife of the country of and State of of the first part and Wm Brown of the and aforesaid of the other part Witness that the said and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt is hereby acknowledged do hereby bargain Grant, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Wm Brown his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of Land situate and being in the and aforesaid Viz:— The North forty nine (49) feet of Lot Eighteen in Block three (3) of ’s addition to — fronting on Back Street (49) forty nine feet Running back the full length. Together with all and singular <simply> the appertenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Wm Brown his heirs and assigns forever and the said and Mary Fuller their heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said Wm Brown his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do warrant and forever defend by these presents In testimony whereof the said and Mary his wife of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written—
