Sect. 1. Be it ordained by the city council of the City of
Nauvoo

. That the Mayor shall be allowed a salary of per annum of one hundred dollars and that the aldermen and Councillors shall receive each one dollar per day while in session— also fine for absence one dollar per day.

Sec. 2. This ordinance to be in form [force] from and after its passage any other ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding.
