There is no transaction recorded in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for an order to David D. Yearsley for $4.50 dated 16 March 1844. There is an entry recorded 21 June 1844 showing that the treasury gave Jonathan H. Hale $4.50 in specie; possibly this was to pay Yearsley. (Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger, 11.)
