There is an entry recorded 19 February 1845 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for $1.00 to Elijah Sabin dated 7 October 1844. This pay order likely corresponds to that entry. Sabin’s account in the ledger notes three orders on collector dated 5 October 1844 totaling $18.00. This and the other extant pay order to Sabin dated 7 October 1844 likely correspond to two of those three orders.
