The custodial history of this document is largely unknown. In 2019, the Joseph Smith Papers Project acquired a digital image of the document when it was in the custody of Moon’s Rare Books, a book and manuscript store operated by Reid Moon in Provo, Utah. As of 2022, the document is presumably in private possession.
