Biography
26 Mar. 1811–23 July 1905. Farmer. Born in Belmont Co., Ohio. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Moved to Pike Co., Missouri, June 1834. Appointed to Second Quorum of Seventy, Feb. 1836. Moved near Hawn’s Mill settlement on Shoal Creek, Caldwell Co., Missouri, Sept. 1836. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, 1840. Accused by JS of participating in riot, 13 June 1843; case dismissed, 17 June 1843. Moved to Iowa Territory, Apr. 1846. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley with John B. Walker pioneer company, 1852. Moved to Grantsville, Tooele Co., Utah Territory, fall 1852. Moved to Basin, Cassia Co., Idaho Territory, by 1880. Died in Basin.
