Biography
16 Dec. 1805–26 Apr. 1871. Born in Phelps, Ontario Co., New York. Son of Pierce Granger and Clarissa Trumbull. Moved to Kent Co., Michigan Territory, by 1833. Moved to Geauga Co., Ohio, by 1838. Married Caroline H. Merrill, 20 Feb. 1840, in Geauga Co. Moved to Grand Rapids, Kent Co., by Apr. 1840. Helped organize Grand River Masonic Lodge in Grand Rapids, 19 Mar. 1849. Moved to Wyoming, Kent Co., by 1860. Returned to Grand Rapids, by 1870. Died at Grand Rapids.
