Bozarth (Bosier, Bozorth), Squire
Biography
11 Jan. 1792–16 Mar. 1853. Born at Nelson Co., Virginia (later in Kentucky). Son of John Bozarth and Sarah Shaw. Lived at Grayson Co., Kentucky, 1810. Married Mildred (Millie) Hoard Willis at Litchfield, Grayson Co., 11 July 1816. Moved near present-day La Grange, Lewis Co., Missouri, 1819. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by George M. Hinkle and Elisha Groves in Lewis Co., ca. 1836. Moved with many Latter-day Saints to Caldwell Co., Missouri, 1836–1837. Lived in Lee Co., Iowa Territory, 1841. Moved to area later named Washington Co., Oregon Territory, 1845; to area near Columbia River opposite Vancouver, Clark County, Oregon Territory; and to area near North Fork of Lewis River, Oregon Territory, 1850. Died near Woodland, Clark and Lewis counties, Washington Territory.
