In making these statements in relation to the character of said I am not actuated by any personal motives of revenge or ambition against him nor partiality to the Mormons, and I am sorry to say that an acquaintance with s past life for several years proves all the facts stated, in this letter to be true—
My apology for writing this boldly and freely to an entire stranger— Is that by his insinuating conversation and easy manners, joined with some grace of person is well calculated to impose on the generous hospitality of Your or Your friends And that you will find, when it might be to late to explain the injury done some family— That You had nourished a a viper in Your bosom with great respect I am &.
