in the providence of God we do agree to be governed by such laws as shall perpetuate this high privilege of what we know ourselves to be the rightful possessors and of which privilge wicked and designing men have tried to deprive us and that purely in consequence of the tenacity we have manifested in the discharge of our duty towards God who had given us these rights and privileges and a right in common with others to dwell in this land But we not having the privilege of others allowed unto us have determined like our fathers to resist tyrranny; whether it be in King or in people it is alike to us our rights we must have, and our rights we shall have in the name of Israels God
