He thinks it is time to show proper resentment to our murderers and tell them what we mean boldly. He is indignant at the idea of asking favors of them any longer, but he is willing to abide by council.
The said if we can keep them off this summer we calculate to leave them anyhow.
Er thinks the best policy is to hold still and make every necessary preparation, and if they do make a break let it be a break. There is a God in Israel and if the mob do make a break he is in favor of putting them down. [p. [369]]
