This Indenture Made and entered into, this Eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one between Joseph Smith and his wife of the County of and State of of the one part and Lovina Smith, John Smith Jerusha Smith Sarah Smith Joseph F Smith and Martha Ann Smith of the County of and aforesaid, of the other part Witnesseth, That the Said Joseph Smith and his wife, for and in consideration of the Sum of one thousand four hundred Dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the Said Lovina Smith John Smith Jerusha Smith Sarah Smith Joseph S F Smith and Martha Ann Smith <their> heirs and assigns forever, all that Two tracts or parcels of land, situate and being in the County of city of in the State of viz Lot (No 3) Three Block (No 149) one hundred and forty nine Also a part of Lot number Two (2) in Block (No (154) one hundred and fifty four beginning at a Stake one hundred (100) feet from the north west corner of said Lot on water Street running thence <on said street> East ninety eight feet to the North East corner of said Lot, thence South on the line between said Lot, & Lot number one in possession of to the Street on the , thence up the on said Street to a Stake & corner of Land deeded to being a part of Said Lot thence North to the place of Beginning Together with all and singular the appurtenances therein belonging, or in anywise appertaining To Have and To Hold the above described premises unto the Said Lovina Smith John Smith Jerusha Smith Sarah Smith Joseph F Smith and Martha ann Smith their heirs and assigns forever.
