Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Smith Jr. of the County of in the State of , for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to me in hand paid by of the and aforesaid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained Sold, remised and ed, and by these presents do grant bargain Sell, remise and quit claim unto the said and to his heirs and assigns forever all my right and title to that piece or parcel of land situated in township and aforesaid deeded to Joseph Smith Jr. & , all of County of & State of , by & Elizabeth [Conant] Russell his wife which deed bears date Oct. 10th. A D 1836, together with all and Singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainders, rents, issues and proffers, thereof; and all the estate, right title, interest claim or demand whatsoever of me the said Joseph Smith Jr. either in Law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises. To have and to hold the same to the said and to his heirs and assigns forever.
