signified their desire to be advanced in Masonry, and their proficiency in the preceeding degree was vouched for— after which they were balloted for, the ballot found clear, and they duly received and passed to the degree of a Fellow Craft Mason. The lodge then called off untill 2 o clock P. M.

Lodge called from refreshment to labor, Present as before, A. Masters lodge was then opened, and Joseph Smith applied for the third and sublime degree of a Master Mason. The ballot was found clear, and he was thereupon duly raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason, and signed the by-laws. Lodge called off untill 7 o clock.
