I, Notary public in and for the city of county and State aforesaid, duly commissioned by the Governor of said do certify that Dana Jacobs and Zilpah Jacobs his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same did Severally acknowledge that they had executed said Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned— And the said Zilpah Jacobs having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed and Examined seperate and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she had Executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed Voluntarily freely and without compulsion of her said husband. In Testimony Whereof I the said Notary have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Notarial Seal at the city of this fifth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six

This Indenture made and Entered into this fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and Artemesia [Artimesia Beman Snow] his wife of the county of Essex and State of of the one part and of the county and aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said and Artemesia his wife, for and in consideration of the Sum of five hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant, bargain sell, convey and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of Land situate and being in the city of county of and State of Viz:— commencing at the South East corner of Lot No four of Block No one hundred and twenty five as described on the City plot of : Thence running west Seventy five feet thence North ninety feet: thence East seventy five feet; thence South ninety feet to the place of beginning Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Artemesia his wife, their heirs and assigns. The aforesaid premises unto the said his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and forever by these presents defend In Testimony Whereof the said and Artimesia his wife of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written
