To the Honorable and bord of City Councillers of Sirs praying you that you would hear this petition As I have had permission to build a Mill on the Margin of the and as their has be[e]n an order to Remove the Same I know [now] ask this petition that you would grant me the privaledg of putting Said mill out on the Out Side butment and the ferry boate goe up on the Shore Side for we cannot Sell the mill nor irons and will be a grate [great] Damage to lose the sale yours Respectefully
