To the Honorable Citty Counsellors in the Citty of Sirs I Humbly petition your honerable boddy to look at and Considder my petition and if you Sirs think it worthy of your notice I beg leave to ask you Sirs to grant a permission to you on and Errect a water Mill or Caus it to be done done on or at the old Mill oposit of Mr Store hous I had the permission granted me and the Company with me by the High Counsel before the Citty Charter was granted and also by brother . <he> gave permission with the high Counsel at the same time. I have a warrantee dead [deed] of the ground where the old Mill now Stands and would want the privalidge of building Some worth in the for the purpos of butment and wheal for sd Mill your permission will Much oblige yours &c.
