Book III
1 The hands of prophets true should be <​-[upheld​>
But this to do the saints are not compeld
But if their hands are up the saints prevail
And they to gain The point will never fail
No armies can withstand when saints obey
For God will help and powr sometimes <​display​>
Let saint in God alone put all their trust
God is Omnipotent benign and ever Just
2 But if the prophets hands be let to <​fall​>
The saints for help in vain on God may call
O friends let us our prophets hands uphold
That God may unto us his truth unfold
That we in knowledge true may daily grow
And live and serve the Lord while here below
Or shall we turn and back to Egypt own
And tell the Lord a scattering has begun
3 O friends awak awake attention give
Let us in friendship true hereafter live
And God I’m sure our souls would daily <​bless​>
And by us dwell in house of deep distress
