1792–13 May 1861. Farmer, hotel proprietor. Born in Pennsylvania. Married Sarah Green, 23 Apr. 1815, in Anderson Co., Tennessee. Served in War of 1812, 1813–1814. Served in Black Hawk War, 1832. Defendant in Saunders v. T. Dixon, Feb. 1844. Witnessed death of JS, 27 June 1844, in Carthage, Hancock Co., Illinois. Died in Dallas City, Hancock Co.
