There is no day given on this pay order, and it is difficult to match it to any entry in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger. There is an entry recorded 30 January 1845 for $3.00 for two orders to Andrew Lytle dated 2 August 1844. There is also an entry recorded 19 February 1844 for $1.00 for an order to Lytle dated 3 August 1844. Lytle’s account in the ledger notes seven orders on collector dated 2 August 1844 totaling $25.00 and six orders on collector dated 22 August 1844 totaling $31.00.
