This indenture made and entered into this twenty seventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two between Joseph Smith sole Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints of the County of and State of of the first part and of the County of and aforesaid of the second part witnesseth, that the said Joseph Smith party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six thousand dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the County of in the State of Illinois, known and described as follows to wit:—
Lot no (3) three in Block no. (117) one hundred and seventeen, also lot no (1) one in Block no (125) one hundred and twenty five, also lots no (1 and 4) one and four in Block no (109) one hundred and nine, also lot no (4) four in Block (102) one hundred and two also lot no (4) four in Block no (100) one hundred, said lots lying in the City of , also lot no (4) in Block no (117) one hundred and seventeen [p. 608]
