<22.> Extract of a Letter from Elder , , Mass, “I am on a visit (T & S. 779) Provinces”
<22 23> Wednesday 23 In council with , and others at my office.
<24> Thurday. I attended by request, the “Female relief So[c]iety”, whose offet obj[e]ct is the relief of the poor, the destitute the widow & the orphan, & for the Exercise of all benevalent purposes, Its organization was completed this day. Mrs takes <(T&S 743)> amelierated. They are strictly parliamentary in their proceedings. An earthquaqe at Falmouth this Morning
<25> Friday attending to a variety of business, counclling &c—
<26> Saterday. 26 Elder (L.L. 92.) <> this day.
<27> Sunday 27. After speaking to the saints for some time on the Subjict of the baptism for the dead, I baptized 107 individuels, I also witnessed the landing of 150 English brethren from the Steamer Ariel.
<28> Monday 28— was at the office received some donatiens from & attended to a varety of business, as also on the 29, & 30th
