[3 words illegible] they were some where in [3 words illegible] Grover is the only person out of the half of sixty I herd say they had killed Smith whose name I can recollect— there was but a very few persons at Flemmings to supper at the usual time— I am very certain was not there at the regular Supper time and am equally certain he was there at breakfast— said we had finished the men dont know who he was addressing himself to at that time— I did not heard say that he had not been to — I did not know that there the Smiths were did except from what they said there were but at that time two leading men <J & > there was a third in the counsel but he was not a leading man— I do not know whether there was any light in the Hall when & G came in— dont recollect whether that night was moon light or dark— The youth was wounded on the cheek dont know on which cheek— heard him say he had been wounded but he did not say by whom or with what— Dont know whether there were any troops from or no— dont know that there was any allarm [p. [32]]
